The challenge
Sunrise was running 60+ daily consignments across four spreadsheets and three WhatsApp groups. Nobody could answer 'where is this shipment' without three phone calls, and invoices were routinely raised late because nobody knew what had been delivered.
What we did
We ran requirement workshops with dispatch, drivers and accounts, then wrote a functional scope covering five modules: consignments, fleet, clients, billing and reporting.
The portal was delivered in four milestones over eleven weeks, each demoed on staging. Role-based access means drivers see only their runs, accounts sees only billing, and management sees everything.
Delivery status updates trigger automatic client notifications, and invoices are generated from delivered consignments rather than from memory.
